At the begining of the semester we were asked to pick an educationl book. I chose to read the book Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. The book was about a little girl named Margaret who is growing up, trying to figure out who she is and what religion really is all while dealing with your typical girl issues.

Throughout the book Margaret meets different people and starts to realize that everyone isn't the same and that it is okay to be your own person and to be different. I think that is an important lesson for teachers and students to realize. Not everyone is the same but that's okay!

“I like one hair, tuna fish, the smell of rain and things that are pink. I hate pimples, baked potatoes, when my mother's mad, and religious holidays.”

“My only advice is to stay aware, listen carefully, and yell for help if you need it.”
